Job Description

Researches include central nervous system (psychiatry, neurology), pain, gastrointestinal system, cardiovascular, immune, metabolic and infectious diseases.

- Assessing and bringing input in research protocols

- As Head Researcher, leading a multidisciplinary team

- Ensuring the safety and well-being of volunteers participating in trials

- Conducting and interpreting measurements (electrocardiograms, blood pressure, heart control, etc.) and registering results

- Initiating and maintaining contacts with potential and existing internal customers and with external medical specialists

- Analysing current and future customer needs to determine their feasibility and advisability

- Participating in the development, implementation and (clinical) validation of new research techniques and methods

- Helping orient the units developmenttpitals

Job Specification

- MD with experience in early phase clinical research

- Holder of a clinical electrocardiography certificate

- Communicative and customer oriented

- Effective team leader and good at transmitting knowledge and learning

- Creative, eager to learn, open-minded, able to identify promising innovations

- Good contact with colleagues and volunteers

- Not afraid of practical and administrative work

- Precise, eye for detail

- IT skilled, adept of efficient work, not afraid of automating processes

- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both verbal and in writing

- Good general and practical knowledge of medical appliances and research techniques

- Ready knowledge of BLS and ALS

- Flexible, able to work early in the morning, in the evening or in week-ends when necessary
