There will be two Application Specialists in Germany, north and south, with the border being approximately between line Aachen and Cottbus.
The Clinical Application Specialist (m/f) is primarily responsible for supporting the sales efforts and account development by providing clinical account support and assistance by conducting and coordinating evaluations, in-servicing, and education and training forums. The region will be northern Germany with a focus on NRW and Berlin.
The future incumbent is expected to work collaboratively with the local Sales and Applications Team, international Clinical Research and Product Development. He/She will report to the European Business Manager. The position is home based. The role will entail approximately 90% travelling.

· Conduct product evaluation and discuss clinical cases with customers
· Support and conduct hospital in-services during product evaluations and product implementations
· Present and deliver education/training programs to the customers
· Strengthen the customer account business relationships, touch points; both medical and clinical
· Support and develop increased use in the companies products by assisting regional sales efforts with accounts in Standard of care
· Support local studies that are prepared by the companies clinical department
· Get market feedback on new applications and potential markets for the company
· Support KOLs with presenting papers and giving lectures
· Organize internal focus group meetings with the marketing department
· Give clinical support to reference sites

o Medical Doctor Anaesthetics/Critical Care
o Preferable 1-2 years experience including trauma and/or prior experience delivering education and training to hospital staff for private industry
o Clinically proficient in anatomy and physiology of Shock Trauma, Emergency medicine and Sepsis
o Medical Consultant or sales experience optional
o Fully trained and clinically competent to have peer to peer discourse with medical personnel on all levels
o Fluent in German and English
o Proficient computer skills to include e-mail, Microsoft Office
